Details: Release EngineerPositionThe Technology Team is searching for an organized, focused and highly skilled Release Engineer. The position will require a strong background in release coordination, open source toolsets, tracking software, and agile methodology. The individual will be the primary release engineer on a large development and QA team. ResponsibilitiesParticipate in project planning activities to be aware of all release schedulesWork closely with development, QA staff and executives to understand build requirementsPerform multiple daily builds for multiple release versions and patchesCreate detailed documentation of projects and branches contained in each buildCreate and maintain tools for on-demand and automated nightly builds and for deployment of builds across multiple environmentsIntegrate continuous integration testing tools created by QA into build process.Administration of source code control repositoryManage environmental configuration filesIn addition to release responsibilities some PHP coding will be requiredRequirements• Minimum of 3-5+ years of release coordination• BA or BS degree preferred• Self-motivated, team oriented, responsible, and reliable with a positive attitude• Candidate must have the ability to work in a structured, yet variable environment• Must have knowledge of code repository software Git and Subversion• Must have experience working with Continuous Integration build management• Must have strong analytical skills• Expertise in handling complex builds and resolving conflicts• Ability to resolve complex build issues• Good grasp of version numbering ideology• Good grasp of code design and syntax structure to identify issues• Some PHP programming experience• Ability to manage multiple projects, patches and builds with attention to detail and accuracy• Must be organized, focused and able to deliver under tight time lines• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to interact with various levels of personnel, including end users, executive management, and developersRandstad Technologies is an EOE-M/F/V/D and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Randstad Holding nv, a $22.5 billion global provider of HR services and the second largest staffing organization in the world.
