Details: The Interface Applications Analyst is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, monitoring and development of HL7 interfaces between various vendor software systems. This includes but is not limited Meditech, Epic and McKesson. You will resolve issues that occur, review and provide an assessment of specifications for new applications, interfaces, design and / or modification requested by users. Position participates in an on-call rotation schedule.This position requires general project management skills, good interpersonal skills, QA/testing skills, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment independently. Must be able to work well in a highly matrixed environment, and work well with internal customers and multiple software vendors to reach solutions.Healthcare information technology background is desired. Experience with HL7 and software applications. Previous work with interfaces, especially clinical interfaces. Experience with Interface engines such as Egate, Corepoint, Ensemble, Cloverleaf and Rhapsody is desired. Experience with Meditech and/or Epic HIS systems is a plus. Engine programming skills are desired. Project management experience needed.
