Details: EMR Application Systems Department Meadowmont Building Full-Time, Days This position is for a Senior Programmer/Analyst with Java and PHP experience to support the development of new Lime Survey functionality and maintenance of our EHR system. The Senior Programmer/Analyst will work with other team members using an Agile process in developing requests and enhancements, as well as analyze and correct system issues. This is a development role working with User Engagement, Project Management, Testing, and Implementation. Primary Duties, Responsibilities, Accountabilities: Implement and Develop LimeSurvey. Apply deep technical insights and experience to inform, guide, and support production issues and failures. Use test-driven development methods to ensure ongoing quality of all new application code. Conduct code reviews with other developers to ensure a high standard of quality and maintainability of new code. Train users and fellow developers on how to use and develop LimeSurvey. Create PHP deployment strategy. Produce high-level application design documents. Handle multiple demands, using own initiative to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision. Work schedules may include some after hours and weekend assignments based on project demands. Keeps management informed of activities through status reporting or other means. Communicates honestly, clearly and openly. Performs other job related functions as required or requested.Preferred candidate will have the following qualifications: 5+ years of applications development using Java, JEE, PHP, XML, XSLT, SOAP, ReST, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS. 5+ years of application support experience. 5+ years of relational database and SQL syntax experience. Familiarity with: WebSphere, Eclipse, Apache web server, DB2, SQL Server. Experience with deploying & scaling PHP Application. Experience with source code management (Subversion, Git). Experience in Agile development. Scrum Preferred. General experience with LimeSurvey. Solid object-oriented design skills. Familiarity with design patterns, unit testing, and writing testable code. Have the ability to understand existing systems as well as develop new systems. Must possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Must be willing to go on overnight and weekend on-call support rotation. Must be detailed oriented. Demonstrable experience of working to resolution complex issues involving cross functional groups. Must be able to work under pressure on multiple assignments. Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams. Strong sense of ownership of the end result. Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skill. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. Healthcare Industry experience preferred. College degree or equivalent experience.
