Major/Key Accountabilities Supports the US Plant Operations engineering team by generating, maintaining and publishing key reports such as project cost tracking and capital spending forecasts. Provides analytical support for project payback analysis, evaluation of cost savings ideas and other modelling as needed. Working with accounting and business holders to clean up and verify AUC balances are taken care of. Manage the idle asset database and work with operations to find and report all idle assets in the network. Ensures that all project documentation is uploaded to the engineering document archive in a timely manner and that proper version control is maintained. Qualifications • Bachelor of Science Degree in one of the following disciplines: Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or other analytical field.Experience • 2 to 4 years experience as an analyst or similar role requiring the collection, modelling, analysis and evaluation of data form varied sources.• Experience in a support role within an engineering organization preferred but not necessary• Operational and or planning experience a plusSkills and Knowledge • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications, particularly Excel• SAP and or BlueView reporting skills a plusLanguages Required EnglishCompetency Success Profile • Functional / Technical Skills o Able to use a variety of internal system effectively to gather the information necessary to generate key reports. o Able to utilize the analytical tools available to perform at a high level with minimal oversight or additional training.• Learning on the Fly – Thrives in an environment with ever changing informational needs and is able to continuously adjust to those changing requirements.• Organisational Agility– Knowledgeable about how the organization functions.
