Details: Job Summary: Review Supplier performance via audit, onsite visits, and other metrics, and provide performance data on the Supplier’s capability to predictably provide conforming, compliant, and reliable materials for use in WMS games, in both Production and Field Service application.Essential Job Functions: Evaluate potential new Suppliers and support Strategic Procurement and Sourcing in selection of new Suppliers. To regularly visit all Suppliers to audit their processes, capabilities, and systems, and report back to Management on whether required standards can reasonably be met and maintained by the systems observed in place. Reduce quality non-conformances (DMR) and cost of poor quality, through the use of quality tools (SPC, Lean, Six Sigma, KPI) and validate improvements through defined measurables. Drive supplier development projects to enhance supply chain capability in both processes and systemic quality improvements. Ensures the Supplier’s Quality System meets Customer and WMS requirements. Monitor and improve Supplier Quality in conjunction with other department personnel.Other Duties: Use statistical process techniques, advanced quality planning methodology to optimize product performance and capability and reduce process variation. Improve the process capability through using the techniques to calculate Cp, Cpk, PpK and (FMEA) Failure Mode and Effect Analysis
