We are seeking a Process Engineer staff member for our Houston, TX office.Responsibilities PFD/P&ID development, process simulation, relief system evaluation and equipment sizing/specifications preferably from the Oil & Gas pipeline industry Perform process design and calculation work as assigned to include but not limited to: process simulation/process flow diagram; Heat and material balance; line sizing and hydraulic calculations; process equipment data sheet; process input to instrument data sheet/P&ID; PSV/PVRV sizing Keep lead engineer or supervisor informed of the decisions that affect a particular design Provide alternative process design schemes and perform economic evaluations Perform SQUAD checks as designed Participate in technical meetings (design and P&ID reviews, MOC, HAZOP, PSSR, LOPA, Vendor/Client meeting, etc.) Assist in start-up of units and preparing operating instructions/manuals as needed Prepare memos, meeting notes, technical documents, and reports Provide technical assistance to other disciplines and to the client Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
