Details: Performs a variety of engineering work in the planning, introducing and implementing of new products and manufacturing processes. Work with other engineering disciplines in the development of new products to increase production quality and efficiency. Provides production support through the resolution of equipment related issues for purchased or in-house manufactured tooling. Responsible for new product tooling design, purchase, initial testing, and training of end-user personnel. High-level technical advisor for the programming of products and technical support/maintenance of routers. Support for insourcing products and developing routings for products as well as addressing problems in routings to aid in better part flow through the manufacturing facility.- Support Quality to Implement Quality Plan.- To Analize and solve quality problems at Manufacturing Cells.- Material and Product Deviation authorization- Leading new product and new options introductions in his/her Focus Factory.- Assure Routings, BOM set-ups and Maintenance in Oracle- Assure accurate Mfg and Purchse Component codification- ECO's coordination (Approval and Implementation) - Support BOM creation process, assuring accurate BOMs- To Provide Accurate Drawing and Product Documentation (Visual Aids,Wiring Diagrams (+DA's') Special Assembly and Inspection Instructions) and Specifications (CTQs, CTPs, criteria acceptance and rejection) along with Accurate BOM’s- Daily support to the FF area assigned in Quality and Product activities- Supply Quality KPI's results to the FF team- Coordinate FF team to identify the source of the product quality defects to solve the problems- Technical Trainning support to the Quality Auditors- Support FF Manager to UL, CSA, NSF and NOM compliance- Follow up Customer Claim, and do teardown analysis. - Communicate Quality issues/Claim to Internal Supplier/Customer Key Tasks & Responsibilities 1. To ensure new products are designed for manufacturability.Participate in kaizen events to improve ABL processes.Train production operators on new machines and manufacturing processes.Research and review industry trends and technological advancements by attending trade shows, reading various trade publications, and working with vendors.
