The primary function is the development and integration of new electronic technologies for lighting applications to include; LED light engines, LED drivers/power supplies, and electronic controls for lighting systems. Job duties include supporting the product development group with the integration of electronic controls for luminaires, develop testing procedures and guidelines for the testing and troubleshooting of electronic luminaires, qualification documentation for new products, and general laboratory testing procedures.The ideal candidate is bright, creative and motivated to excel. Educational requirements include a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience Programming in C, knowledge of serial interface, and design, evaluation and testing of various electronic devices highly preferred. The individual must possess a sense of urgency, results orientation, strong communication skills, ability to work in a team environment and a mindset for continuous improvement.
